Linda Dow

Linda Linda is a dedicated Provisional Psychologist registered with AHPRA, holding a Bachelor of Psychological Science (Honours) from the Australian College of Applied Psychology. Her passion lies in proactive mental health and positive psychology, where she strives to empower individuals to live their best lives by identifying strengths and addressing any areas of improvement. Linda takes an active role in her clients' journeys by engaging with various services and stakeholders to effectively target their goals.

With a diverse background, Linda brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to her practice. She has previously worked with adults presenting with Schizophrenia, anxiety, depression, Dementia, and intellectual difficulties. Additionally, Linda has a strong understanding of neurodivergent children, specifically autistics and ADHDers, as well as their parents and caregivers. Her experience extends to providing therapy via telehealth and in-person settings, catering to clients of all age groups.

Linda's therapeutic approach is eclectic, allowing her to adapt her methods to suit the unique needs of each client. Her goal is to support individuals in building confidence, developing essential skills, and achieving an active and fulfilling life. With a focus on tailored interventions, Linda works collaboratively with her clients to facilitate their personal growth and well-being.

In addition to her clinical work, Linda has undergone training in the Wheel of Well-being. This has enabled her to develop and facilitate individual and group wellness and nutrition programs, both regionally and in the Logan area. She takes great pride in her involvement with a dedicated team that has established a regional well-being hub, which includes community engagement activities and well-being expos.
