Life can sometimes feel overwhelming, particularly when you are navigating stress, trauma, anxiety, grief, relationship difficulties, or significant life changes.
Taking the step to seek support can feel daunting, and finding the right person to walk alongside you is important.
I am a Provisional Psychologist registered with AHPRA and am currently completing my Master of Professional Psychology. Prior to entering psychology, I spent more than 30 years working in service and leadership roles, including the Australian Army, Queensland and Western Australia Police Services, vocational education, and the civil construction industry. These experiences have provided me with a deep understanding of the challenges people can face throughout life and the importance of feeling genuinely heard and understood.
I take a practical, collaborative, and down-to-earth approach to therapy. I value building strong therapeutic relationships and creating a space where people can explore challenges, identify strengths, and work towards meaningful change at a pace that feels right for them.
I work with children, adolescents, and adults and have particular interests in supporting veterans, first responders, emergency service personnel, and individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, grief and loss, workplace stress, adjustment difficulties, and life transitions.
My approach is informed by Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and trauma-informed principles. I aim to tailor support to each person's unique needs, experiences, and goals.
Some of the areas I work with include:
Anxiety and stress
Depression and low mood
Grief and loss
Life transitions and adjustment difficulties
Neurodivergence (ADHD and autism)
Relationship and family concerns
Sleep difficulties
Trauma and PTSD
Veterans and first responders
Workplace wellbeing and resilience
Meaningful change often begins with a conversation, a willingness to explore what is happening, and the courage to take the next step forward.
