It can be exhausting when your mind feels like it never switches off. Constant worry, self-doubt, overthinking, and feeling stuck can make everyday challenges seem much harder than they need to be.
Therapy provides an opportunity to understand these patterns and develop skills to manage them more effectively.
I am a Provisional Psychologist registered with AHPRA and currently completing my Master of Clinical Psychology. I am passionate about supporting children, adolescents, and adults to better understand themselves, navigate life's challenges, and build skills that support their wellbeing and goals.
I enjoy working with people experiencing anxiety and related difficulties, including social anxiety, obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), depression, stress, and challenges with decision-making. I also support young people who may be navigating difficulties at school, at home, socially, or during periods of change and transition. This can include challenges with social skills, organisation, concentration, emotional regulation, and feelings of not fitting in or constantly feeling on edge.
My approach to therapy is collaborative, supportive, and tailored to the individual. I believe meaningful change happens when people feel actively involved in the therapeutic process rather than feeling like a passenger in their own journey. I aim to create a space where clients feel comfortable exploring challenges, gaining new perspectives, and developing practical skills that can be applied in everyday life.
My practice is informed by Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), and I also draw from Schema Therapy, Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and trauma-informed approaches. I adapt my approach to suit each person's unique needs, strengths, and circumstances.
As a visual learner myself, I often incorporate diagrams, visual explanations, and practical tools into sessions. I find these strategies can help make complex concepts easier to understand and support clients to apply what they have learned beyond the therapy room.
Some of the areas I work with include:
Anxiety and stress
Depression and low mood
Emotional regulation difficulties
Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD)
Organisation and executive functioning difficulties
School-related challenges
Self-esteem and confidence
Social anxiety
Social skills development
Trauma-informed support
Therapy is an opportunity to better understand yourself, develop practical skills, and create meaningful change that supports the life you want to live.
