Life can be challenging at times, and it takes courage to ask for help. If you’re feeling overwhelmed by life’s challenges, I’m here to offer a kind and non-judgmental space for you to be heard, understood and supported.
No matter where you are in your journey, we will work together to gain perspective and find meaning in your experiences in a way that feels safe for you. I will work alongside you as you reconnect with your inner strength and resilience for you to move forward with hope.
I am a Counselling Intern, completing the Master of Counselling at the University of Canberra. I am committed to providing a safe, non-judgmental, and culturally responsive space where you feel heard and supported. My approach is trauma-informed, person-centred, and grounded in cultural humility, recognising that each individual’s journey is shaped by their unique history, values, and lived experiences.
I have extensive experience working with individuals who have faced domestic violence, displacement, loss, complex grief, and childhood trauma. These experiences can deeply impact mental health, self-worth, and relationships, but I believe in the power of healing, resilience, and reclaiming one’s narrative. I work collaboratively and sensitively, ensuring therapy moves at a pace that feels right for you.
I integrate a range of evidence-based approaches, including Internal Family Systems (IFS), Narrative Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Interpersonal Therapy (IPT), and Attachment-Based Therapy. My approach is flexible and tailored to what is most meaningful to you, empowering you to reconnect with your strengths and values.
In addition to working with adults and young people, I am passionate about supporting parents and caregivers in strengthening their relationships with children. I am a facilitator of Circle of Security Parenting®, Tuning into Kids®, and Keeping Children Safe®, offering these programs in both individual and group settings.
Some of the areas I work with include:
After suicide bereavement
Anxiety and depression
Childhood and intergenerational trauma
Emotional regulation
Intimate partner, family, and domestic violence
Parenting and relationship challenges
Post-migration and life transition challenges
Systemic challenges (workplace, community, education)
Trauma, grief, and loss
Therapy is an opportunity to heal, grow, and create a life that aligns with your values and strengths.
A Little About Me:
I have a huge collection of succulents and love the challenge of helping them thrive in Queensland’s climate - despite it being the opposite of their natural habitat!
I am a fur parent to a Groodle and a Lhasa Apso - they remind me daily of the power of unconditional love.
Yoga, music, and walking in nature are my cup-fillers - they help me recharge and stay grounded.
I speak three languages and hope to learn Korean in the next three years!
