At different points in life, we can find ourselves asking difficult questions about who we are, where we belong, and how we want to move forward. Sometimes this follows a significant life event or loss; other times, it is simply a growing awareness that we want life to feel different.
Therapy can provide a supportive space to explore these questions, strengthen self-understanding, and create meaningful change that is grounded in your values, strengths, and hopes for the future.
I am a Provisional Psychologist currently completing a pathway to full registration with AHPRA. I completed my psychology qualifications in the United States and Europe and bring over 20 years of experience and training in psychology, counselling, and mental health. Throughout my career, I have supported people from diverse backgrounds through periods of change, growth, loss, and transition.
Having lived and worked across different countries and cultures, I understand both personally and professionally the challenges that can accompany identity, belonging, migration, life transitions, and finding your place in the world. These experiences have shaped my appreciation for the uniqueness of each person's story, and the resilience people can show during difficult times.
I work with children, adolescents, adults, and older adults experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, relationship difficulties, burnout, and challenges relating to identity and self-worth. I have a particular interest in supporting individuals who feel stuck in survival mode and are seeking not only relief from distress, but a richer, more meaningful way of living.
My approach is warm, thoughtful, and collaborative. I believe meaningful change happens within a strong therapeutic relationship, and I strive to create a space where clients feel genuinely heard, understood, and accepted. I draw on evidence-based approaches including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), psychodynamic therapy, narrative therapy, mindfulness-based approaches, and strengths-based approaches. Therapy is always tailored to you, recognising the unique experiences, values, and goals you bring.
Some of the areas I work with include:
Anxiety, stress, and chronic worry
Burnout, perfectionism, and emotional exhaustion
Cultural identity, belonging, and migration experiences
Depression and low mood
Emotional regulation and coping skills
Grief and loss
Life transitions and adjustment
Meaning, purpose, and values-based living
Neurodivergence and self-understanding
Personal growth and self-discovery
Relationship difficulties and attachment concerns
Self-esteem, confidence, and identity
Trauma and recovery
Sometimes the goal of therapy is not simply to feel better, but to build a life that feels more connected, meaningful, and aligned with who you are.
