Healing is best supported through compassion and empowering people to discover their strengths to create the life they truly deserve.
In today’s fast-paced world, with its constant changes and competing demands, it is common to feel lonely, stuck, unmotivated, or disconnected from your true self.
Therapy provides a safe and supportive space for reflection and connection, helping you gain insights into your experiences, reconnect with your feelings, clarify what you want in life, and build the confidence to shape a future that feels authentic and fulfilling.
I am a Provisional Psychologist registered with AHPRA, passionate about delivering evidence-based, client-centred, and culturally responsive care. My therapeutic approach is grounded in interventions such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), and a trauma-informed framework. I tailor these methods to suit each person’s unique context, goals, and preferences.
My background spans both clinical and research settings, and I have had the privilege of working with individuals across the lifespan. This includes conducting research into emotional recognition and adapting CBT programs for families, providing crisis support through Lifeline, working with older adults in a community diabetes clinic, and delivering care in public mental health settings for both young people and adults.
Before becoming a psychologist, I gained experience in hospitality, marketing, and accounting - roles that deepened my understanding of people from diverse walks of life. Having lived as an international student and migrant, and being trilingual in English, Mandarin, and Cantonese, I bring a cross-cultural perspective and a strong ability to connect with people from a wide range of cultural backgrounds. These personal and professional experiences continue to shape the respectful, inclusive care I offer.
Some of the areas I work with include:
Adjustment and life transitions
Anxiety, OCD, and trauma
Communication skills
Cultural transition and adjustment
Depression
Emotional regulation and stress management
Neurodivergence (Autism, ADHD)
Self-identity, meaning and values
