Life can feel overwhelming, emotionally exhausting, or uncertain at times, particularly when stress, relationships, or past experiences begin to impact daily life and wellbeing.
Therapy can support greater understanding of these experiences while helping you reconnect with your strengths, build resilience, and create meaningful and lasting change.
I am a Counselling Intern completing the Master of Counselling at the University of Canberra and currently hold ACA student registration. I have over 10 years of experience in the mental health sector as a mental health support worker, along with the last five years working as a Rehabilitation Counsellor.
My therapeutic style is warm, collaborative, and person-centred. I value building therapeutic relationships grounded in empathy, authenticity, and trust, where people feel supported to explore their thoughts, emotions, and experiences at a pace that feels comfortable for them. Together, we work to better understand emotional patterns, navigate challenges, and develop strategies that feel meaningful and sustainable.
I draw on evidence-based therapies including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) to support greater understanding of the connection between thoughts, emotions, and behaviours while developing practical strategies for emotional regulation, stress management, and navigating life’s challenges.
I welcome adolescents and adults who may feel overwhelmed, emotionally exhausted, stuck, or disconnected within themselves, their relationships, or daily life. I have a strong interest in supporting individuals experiencing trauma-related difficulties, neurodivergence, emotional regulation challenges, and persistent stress, with a focus on supporting you to build resilience and reconnect with your strengths. My experience across rehabilitation counselling and mental health support work has strengthened my understanding of the complexities people face throughout different stages of life.
Some of the areas I work with include:
Addiction and substance misuse
Adjustment and life transitions
Anxiety and obsessive compulsive behaviours
Depression and low mood
Emotional regulation and stress management
Neurodivergence (Autism, ADHD)
PTSD and trauma-related symptoms
Sex, sexuality, and gender diversity
I believe therapy can support greater self-understanding, emotional growth, and meaningful change through compassionate and collaborative connection.
